The Third Transmitter

I heard from X again -- she left a voice mail. Said she only had a 2-minute window when her mind wasn't owned. The plan is to use RapidEnhance to create two classes of people: those who transmit, and those who receive. Those who are super-enhanced use the chemical transmission devices, mostly at Elegiac International. But Elegiac has one client: A media hosting corporation, which is pumping molecules through video streams and into the antennae on our RapidEnhance implants. That company has the third transmitter. Once the transmitter sends a command, though, the receivers must obey. All those millions of people.

Take out your RapidEnhance implants, and stop using RapidEnhance inhalers! I am heading for the border this week.

No matter where I go, I see messages about RapidEnhance or Elegiac on TV. X was in an ad, explaining how RapidEnhance "makes superheroes." She'd grown her arm back.

Going South

I am out of here -- took my laptop and a backpack full of clothes and heading south. I can't believe, this is happening to me. They are still reading this, and after X talked to me they must have acted. About 12 hours ago, I got a FedEx package with X's arm in it. I recognized her unicorn tattoo. That is when I left. Out here the truckstops all have wifi, so I will try to update as I go.

X Has Returned

In the weeks since I was fired from Elegiac, I haven't seen X. But today she called me, out of the blue. I can only talk for two hours, she said. They will control me again soon.

We met in a park near the Bay, and she was even thinner than when I saw her last. She said they had made her very strong -- some kind of additional implants that go with RapidEnhance to harden the body's defenses. I now know the truth, she has gone from RapidEnhance biotechnician . . . to experiment.

If you have RapidEnhance implants, get rid of them. If you can't, don't watch video. X confirmed that video makes your chemical control more complete. Somehow I'm starting to think this isn't about the government. I think it's about the media conglomerates wanting us to be sheep so they can sell our minds to the highest bidder!
